Ingrid Jarrett

Ingrid Jarrett is a distinguished leader in Canada’s hospitality and tourism industry, recognized for her strategic vision, collaborative leadership and deep-rooted commitment to community development. With over three decades of experience, she has shaped the hospitality sector.
In 2019, Ingrid made history as the first female President and CEO of the British Columbia Hotel Association in its 103-year history. During her five-year tenure, she guided the industry through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, securing critical financial relief for operators and communities. Her leadership advanced key priorities including diversity, equity, and inclusion—successfully achieving the 50/30 diversity challenge—and sustainability, with initiatives like the BCHA Sustainability Playbook and the Emergency Management Booking Portal.
Her career includes senior leadership roles at respected organizations such as Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, Watermark Beach Resort, and the Canadian Vacation Ownership Association. She has served on numerous boards, including the Hotel Association of Canada, Tourism Victoria, Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association, and Destination British Columbia, where she held the role of Vice Chair of the Marketing Committee. She was also a founding member of the Tourism Task Force that led to the establishment of Destination BC.
Her contributions have been recognized with several prestigious accolades, including Business Woman of the Year at the BC Tourism Industry Conference and inclusion among Canada’s Most Powerful Women by the Women’s Executive Network.
Gary Collinge

With over 30 years of experience as a Hotel General Manager, most recently at the Pan Pacific Hotel Vancouver, Gary has a proven track record in managing full-service luxury properties, as well as branded and independent hotels across both full-service and focused-service segments. His extensive career includes 25 years with Hilton Hotels in the Vancouver area.
Beyond his leadership in hotel management, Gary has been actively involved in industry organizations. He has served on the Boards of the Hotel Association of Vancouver and the Vancouver Hotel Destination Marketing Association, where he also held the position of Board Chair. Additionally, he served three terms on the Board of Tourism Vancouver, contributing to the Governance, Marketing, and Nominating Committees, as well as chairing the Investment Advisory Committee. His dedication to community and industry development also led him to serve as Board Chair and a board member of the Richmond Olympic Oval Corporation.
